We had a great Labor Day weekend! We went camping in the Uintahs on Friday, and had a picnic with extended family on Monday. We went up the south fork of the Provo River to a nice park. The kids had a great time playing in the water while we (the adults) sat in the nice cool shade and talked. We were about 1/2 was done with our picnic dinner when across the field from us the sprinklers turned on!
Oh the shrieking and jumping around that followed! It was quite comical since it wasn’t happening to us!
We talked about how terrible it was that all those people were getting wet and had to move their groups away from the water, and continued eating our dinner.
About 15 minutes later, the sprinklers turned off.
AND the ones by us turned ON!
We were quick to find a solution to the problem and covered one sprinkler with this bowl-rock combo,
another with our cooler and a bag of ice on top, and the third with a plastic tub with a cooler on top.
It was very exciting!
The kids had a great time in this tree.
They also played a little soccer, and we finished the day with a little watermelon for dessert.
